Please read these terms carefully before using IconKing. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to IconKing. By accessing or using our website, services, or downloading any content, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and IconKing. We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

2. Description of Service

IconKing is a digital marketplace that provides access to professional Lottie animations (JSON files), After Effects project files (AEP), and related design assets. Our service offers:

• Downloadable Lottie animation files in JSON format
• After Effects project files (AEP) for customization
• Organized collections and packs of animations
• Animation editor for customizing downloaded files
• Private storage for your uploaded animations
• Sharing links for distributing animations
• Official IconKing plugins/extensions for Figma and Adobe After Effects that let you browse, preview, insert, and import IconKing assets directly inside those applications

We offer three subscription tiers: Free (limited downloads), Pro (unlimited downloads), and Lifetime Access (one-time payment for lifetime access). Each tier includes a commercial license for all downloaded animations.

3. User Accounts & Registration

To access certain features of IconKing, you must create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You may not share your account credentials with others. Each account is for individual use only. Account sharing may result in immediate termination of your account without refund.

4. Subscription Plans & Billing

Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through Paddle, our payment processor and merchant of record. Paddle handles all payment processing, tax calculations, and compliance. IconKing does not store your credit card information.

Subscription Plans

• Free Plan: $0/forever - 10 downloads per day, limited private storage. 2026 first-year promotion: free plan downloads are watermark-free through December 31, 2026. Watermarks for free-plan downloads start on January 1, 2027.
• Pro Plan: $10/month (monthly), or $6/month billed yearly ($72/year) - Unlimited downloads, unlimited private storage
• Lifetime Access: $100 one-time payment - All Pro features forever (limited to first 50 users)

Automatic Renewal

Pro plan subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) unless cancelled before the renewal date. You will receive an email reminder before each renewal. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard or through the Paddle billing portal.

Price Changes

We reserve the right to change our subscription prices. If we increase the price of your plan, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance. Price changes will take effect at your next billing cycle. If you do not agree to the price increase, you may cancel your subscription before the new price takes effect.

5. License Grant & Intellectual Property

Ownership

All Lottie animations, graphics, designs, code, and content available on IconKing are the intellectual property of IconKing or its content creators. IconKing retains all rights, title, and interest in and to the animations.

License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable fees, IconKing grants you a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:

• Download and use animations in unlimited personal and commercial projects
• Modify, customize, and edit downloaded animations for your projects
• Incorporate animations into websites, applications, presentations, videos, and other digital products
• Use animations in client work and commercial projects without attribution

License Restrictions

You may NOT:

• Redistribute, resell, or sublicense raw animation files (JSON or AEP) as standalone products
• Claim ownership of the original animations
• Upload animations to other stock or marketplace websites
• Create competing animation libraries or marketplaces using our content
• Use animations in a way that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes on third-party rights
• Register animations as trademarks or claim exclusive rights

License Survival

The license for animations you have downloaded continues even after your subscription is cancelled or your account is terminated. You may continue to use previously downloaded animations in accordance with this license. However, you will not be able to download new animations without an active subscription.

6. Commercial License Terms

All IconKing plans (Free, Pro, and Lifetime) include a commercial license. This means you can use our animations for commercial purposes without additional fees or attribution.

Permitted Commercial Uses

• Client Projects: Use in unlimited client projects and charge clients for your work
• Commercial Websites: Incorporate into commercial websites, SaaS products, and web applications
• Mobile Apps: Include in iOS, Android, and other mobile applications (free or paid)
• Marketing Materials: Use in advertisements, social media, email campaigns, and presentations
• Video Production: Include in YouTube videos, courses, tutorials, and commercial videos
• Physical Products: Use in product packaging, print materials, and merchandise when incorporated into a larger design
• Templates: Include in website themes, app templates, and design templates (as long as the animation files are not extractable)

Prohibited Commercial Uses

• Resale of Raw Files: Selling the JSON or AEP files as standalone products
• Stock Websites: Uploading to competing animation or stock media marketplaces
• Redistributable Templates: Creating templates where end-users can extract the animation files
• On-Demand Products: Print-on-demand or made-to-order products that feature the animation as the primary design element

Attribution

Attribution is not required but always appreciated. If you'd like to credit IconKing, you can link to iconking.net or mention "Animations from IconKing."

7. IconKing Plugins (Figma & After Effects)

IconKing offers official plugins/extensions that let you browse, preview, and use IconKing assets directly inside third-party design tools:

• IconKing Figma Plugin: search, preview, and insert icons and animation assets into your Figma files.
• IconKing After Effects Plugin: browse the animation library and import editable After Effects project files (AEP), or download Lottie and dotLottie files, directly inside After Effects.

Application of These Terms

Your use of the IconKing plugins is governed by these Terms of Service in full, together with our Privacy Policy. All license grants, license restrictions, commercial license terms, acceptable use, and fair usage provisions in these Terms apply equally to assets you access, insert, import, or download through the plugins.

License for Plugin Assets

Animations, icons, and project files obtained through the plugins are licensed to you under the same terms as assets downloaded from iconking.net (see Sections 5 and 6). Importing an asset through a plugin does not grant any additional rights, and all License Restrictions continue to apply — including the prohibition on redistributing or reselling raw animation or AEP files as standalone products.

Accounts & Access

Some plugin features are available for guest or free use, while others may require an IconKing account or an active subscription. Where an account is required, the account provisions in Section 3 and the fair usage provisions in Section 10 apply to plugin activity in the same way they apply to the website.

Acceptable Plugin Use

When using the plugins, you agree NOT to:

• Use automated tools, scripts, or bots to bulk-download or scrape the IconKing library through the plugin
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code or credentials from the plugin
• Circumvent any entitlement, rate-limiting, watermarking, or access-control mechanism
• Redistribute, repackage, or resell the plugin or its bundled assets

Third-Party Platforms

The IconKing plugins are distributed through and run inside third-party platforms, including the Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe Exchange ecosystem (After Effects) and the Figma platform and Community (Figma). Your use of those platforms is also subject to the applicable terms of Adobe and Figma, respectively. Adobe and Figma are not affiliated with IconKing, do not provide these plugins, and are not responsible for them; IconKing is solely responsible for the IconKing plugins.

Availability, Updates & Changes

The plugins connect to IconKing-controlled backend services to function and require an internet connection. We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any plugin or plugin feature at any time, including to maintain compatibility with new versions of After Effects or Figma. We do not guarantee that a plugin will remain compatible with every host-application version.

Plugin Data & Privacy

Information processed by the plugins is described in the dedicated plugin sections of our Privacy Policy. We do not access, read, or store the contents of your local After Effects projects or your private Figma design files beyond what is necessary to provide the feature you request.

Disclaimer

The plugins are provided "as is" and "as available." The disclaimers and limitations of liability in Sections 12 and 13 apply fully to the plugins and to any assets accessed through them.

8. User Content & Uploads

IconKing allows you to upload and store your own Lottie animations in private storage. By uploading content, you represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the necessary rights to upload and store the content
• Your content does not infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights
• Your content does not contain malicious code, viruses, or harmful software
• Your content complies with all applicable laws and regulations

You retain all ownership rights to your uploaded content. IconKing does not claim ownership of your private animations. However, you grant IconKing a limited license to store, process, and display your content as necessary to provide the service.

IconKing reserves the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or is deemed inappropriate. We may delete private animations 90 days after account cancellation to manage storage capacity.

9. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use IconKing only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:

• Use the service in any way that violates any applicable law or regulation
• Impersonate or attempt to impersonate IconKing, an IconKing employee, another user, or any other person or entity
• Engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's use of the service
• Use any robot, spider, or other automatic device to access the service for any purpose
• Introduce any viruses, trojan horses, worms, logic bombs, or other malicious material
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the service or any systems or networks
• Use the service to transmit, or procure the sending of, any advertising or promotional material without our prior written consent

10. Fair Usage Policy

What "Unlimited Downloads" Means

Pro and Lifetime plans offer "unlimited downloads," which means you can download as many animations as you need for your legitimate personal or commercial projects. We understand that some users work on large projects and may need to download many animations – this is completely acceptable.

Prohibited Activities

However, "unlimited" does not mean you can abuse the system. The following activities are prohibited:

• Mass Downloading: Using automated tools, scripts, or bots to download our entire library
• Systematic Scraping: Downloading animations with the intent to create a competing library or marketplace
• Account Sharing: Sharing your account credentials with multiple people or teams
• Resale Intent: Downloading animations solely for the purpose of redistributing or reselling them

Fair Usage Guidelines

As a general guideline, we may review accounts that download more than 100 animations per hour or show patterns of automated downloading. If we detect abuse, we will:

1. Contact you to discuss your usage
2. Temporarily limit downloads while we investigate
3. In cases of clear abuse, suspend or terminate the account without refund

Legitimate Heavy Usage

We recognize that some users legitimately need to download many animations for large projects, presentations, or client work. This is completely fine and encouraged! If you have questions about whether your usage complies with our fair usage policy, please contact us at [email protected].

11. Termination Rights

Your Right to Terminate

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard or through the Paddle billing portal. Upon cancellation:

• Your account will remain active until the end of your current billing period
• You will not be charged for the next billing cycle
• Your account will downgrade to the Free plan at the end of the billing period
• Private animations will be preserved for 90 days
• Previously downloaded animations retain their license

Our Right to Terminate

IconKing reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to:

• Violation of these Terms of Service
• Abuse of the fair usage policy
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Non-payment of fees
• Behavior that harms IconKing, its users, or third parties

Upon termination for violation of Terms, no refund will be provided, and you must immediately cease all use of IconKing animations downloaded after the violation occurred.

12. Disclaimers & Warranties

IconKing is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

• The service will meet your specific requirements
• The service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• The results obtained from using the service will be accurate or reliable
• The quality of any animations or content will meet your expectations
• Any errors in the software or service will be corrected

You acknowledge that you download or obtain any content through our service at your own discretion and risk, and you will be solely responsible for any damage to your computer system or loss of data that results from the download of such content.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, IconKing shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

• Your use or inability to use the service
• Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein
• Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the service
• Any bugs, viruses, trojan horses, or similar that may be transmitted through the service by any third party
• Any errors or omissions in any content or for any loss or damage incurred as a result of the use of any content

In no event shall IconKing's total liability to you for all damages, losses, and causes of action exceed the amount you paid to IconKing in the twelve (12) months prior to the claim, or $100 USD, whichever is greater.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Islamabad, Pakistan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Islamabad, Pakistan. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts and waive any objection to the inconvenience of such forum.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice before the new terms take effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you must stop using the service and cancel your subscription.
